This fine clock has a bonnet with broken arch pediment, central brass finial, two pillars, and side lights. The hand painted face reads "Elisha Kirk York Town No. 32" and features moon phase, seconds hand, calendar aperture, floral spandrels, and hemisphere.
With eight-day brass weight-driven movement, time & strike. Includes pendulum, weights, and key.
Elisha Kirk (1757-1790) was a clock maker and pewterer who came to York, Pa in 1770.
