"Treason" has Section One assigned by the CIA to "quietly" deport Suba, foreign anti-terrorist
contact who is smuggling waste uranium out of the country for his own profit. Upon further
investigation, Nikita discovers traitor in Section, who is working with the terrorist because Suba
is holding the man’s son hostage.
Says Joel Surnow, "A really strong Section One episode that dealt with the specific constraints of
Nikita’s life. Like ‘Friend, it dealt with her helping someone and trying to put herself between the
